An Afternoon of Music Tambours Sans Frontieres, Greg Ginn & the Mudflapps

I recently spent a rather nice afternoon, and evening, on Chicago’s northside at The Glenwood Arts & Music Fest. I found a table and chair at one of the little stages somewhat off the beaten path and watched three totally different acts perform. First the afro beat sounds of Tambours Sans Frontieres followed by Greg Ginn former guitarist and songwriter for punk legends Black Flag. Lsied as number 99 of Rolling Stones 100 best guitarists. And the Fest was brought to a close with the bluegrass sounds of The Mudflapps. A good time to be sure.
